Kiten is situated in the south-eastern part of the Bulgarian Black Sea coast on a peninsula, surrounded by two magnificent bays, 55 km south-east of Bourgas and just 5 km south of Primorsko. Each newcomer to this lovely village is charmed by its mild climate, unspoilt nature and sea, and hospitable native people.
Nowadays Kiten is a prosperous modern tourist village. In its little and cosy hotels, private houses, camping sites and motels each week in summer come more than 70 000 tourists. Kiten offers different kinds of water sports - yachting, underwater fishing, water diving, water ski. It also offers a football playground, tennis courts, basketball and volleyball playground, swimming pools, banana, etc.
Excursions and picnics are offered in Strandja Park and Ropotamo reserve. Tourists can take cognitive tours to Primorsko, Sozopol, Duni, Nessebar, etc.. Those who wish to feel the spirit of the old and rural Bulgarian traditions can visit Yasna polyana and Pismenovo villages. Visitors can enjoy a yacht or boat trip. Kiten has two beaches: in the north Kiten Altiman and in the south Kiten Yug. The north beach has fine sand and is located at the far end of the bay. The south beach is more than 1 km long and is situated in the Urdovitsa bay. To the south it reaches the Kiten River that is rich in various fish species.
